Flurbiprofen does increase the risk of serious gastrointestinal conditions such an ulceration, bleeding and perforation.  Flurbiprofen has also been associated with persistent urinary symptoms (bladder pain, dysuria, urinary frequency), decreased platelet adhesion and aggregation, hyperkalemia, ophthalmic effects (blurred vision), renal effects and potentially serious skin reactions including exfoliative dermatitis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN); may occur without warning.  Flurbiprofen should be used with caution in patients with aseptic meningitis, asthma, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery, hepatic and/or renal impairment.
